The mission of the West Point Ski Patrol, is to promote safety and render emergency care to those who may become injured or ill at the Victor Constant Ski Slope. Contiuous support to the West Point community in many off season events such as Sandhusrst, Orienteering, Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America Camporee, attendees of graduation and on post sporting events. The 110 hour mandatory "Emergency Care Instruction" each member must complete, is a fraction of an ongoing educational process that enables the cadets to assist their comrades and the public long after graduation. Vision To expand the Ski Patrol's leadership on the Victor Constant Ski Slope through increased training, teamwork, and presence; increase our members' strong desire to help others; increase our members' emergency care skills and ability to respond immediately and appropriately in an emergency; improve our members' skiing and snowboarding skills to facilitate the growth of a lifetime sport.
