Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking caring and responsible Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide homecare services to a female Pediatric patient with Spinal Muscular Atrophy in West Point, NY. The doctor has set forth a non-invasive protocol for this patient. She requires ventilation through the use of a Bipap. This patient follows a respiratory regimen consisting of CPT, cough assist, drainage and suction. Currently we have all shifts available on both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules. Maxim welcomes all candidates with at least 1 year of experience, but an ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with Ventilators, Trachs, G-Tubes, PICU, Respiratory Care and Pediatric Care. Bayada Nurses is seeking compassionate RNs/LPNs

Research and Prospect Management Manager
West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a Research and Prospect Management Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the incumbent in this position is responsible for a staff of professional researchers whose mission is to identify, research and track individuals, corporations and foundations.

The Research and Prospect Management Manager plans, implements and directs a comprehensive program to address activities associated with moving prospects along the giving continuum for the purposes of enhancing fundraising efforts. The manager proactively identifies new prospects, helps organize the prospect pool and oversees the Prospect Management system establishing research methodologies, procedures and data gathering formats.

A Bachelors Degree with at least five years experience in fundraising and prospect research is required. Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills are essential including knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and the latest prospect research techniques and products. The incumbent must also have excellent written and oral communications skills, and some knowledge of USMA’s academic, athletic, and co-curricular programs. You may be eligible for unemployment.  If you are a military spouse who had to quit your job to follow a military member on a PCS move to West Point , you may be eligible to collect unemployment benefits. If you are arriving here from another state, you can contact the NYDOL at 845 568-5373.  Be sure to have a copy of the military members’ PCS orders. When you leave West Point for another duty location, if you have worked in NY State and move as a result of the military members PCS, you will probably be eligible to receive benefits from New York State , although each situation is handled on a case by case basis. Free monthly Personal Care Aide and Home Health Aide Trainings offered through New York State Health Workforce retraining Initiative Grant. Must be at least 18 years of age and have prior work experience in health care setting functioning in any job capacity. Priority given to laid off health care workers, those looking to re-enter the healthcare field, and those looking to enhance care giving skills.
